Axial’s own development runs through Axial: 330 issues and 239 pull requests coordinated through the product, every mutation attributed to the actor that made it. Axial is the first product because coordination exposes exact requirements: claims must be atomic, conflicts must be visible, activity must identify its actor, and output must be dependable enough for another system to act on. Decades in regulated industries taught us what software looks like when someone will eventually audit it. We build to that standard by default.
